Some more info about me and my music.

If you want to contact me, for any reason whatsoever, please email me here and I will respond as soon as I am able.
In the Beginning...

My name is Rich (or RJ) Thorne, and so legend has it I was born on 16 August 1985 in Bristol, England.

Around 1996 I developed a fascination for music and, despite not being able to play an instrument, set my sights on making it one day. Through 1998 and 1999, my tastes became more focused on trance, particularly the European style pioneered by Ferry Corsten, Tiesto and others. In 2002, I first picked up a copy of Fruityloops and gradually started learning how to produce...

I owe a hell of a lot to the guys at MPFS Promotions, where I shared all my early stuff - under the alias 'Virtuastar' and later 'Isoterra' - and got some very valuable feedback. It was through this board I first met a chap from Canada by the name of Omar Avila, who was a bit of a melody whizz. We decided to team up under the name 'Terrafusion', under which the majority of my stuff has been put out.

I eventually signed my first record to the now-defunct Equilibrium Recordings, and later went on to sign stuff to MPFS' own label, Abora Recordings, Bonzai, Discover, Prehab and Joof Recordings.

In 2009 I came up with my first album. I initially had an agreement to get it signed with MPFS but sadly they ceased operation around the time it got completed. After a long while of deciding what to do with it I eventually put it up for free download.

Aside from music productions I'm a big film fan and also keen on level design, currently largely involved in the Remake Quake project.
